Dear Family and Friends:
I have put off writing this message because I couldn’t bear
it but the time has come to tell the world. It was my dream to own and operate a tea room and that dream was realized with the opening of SweeTea’s in October 2007. After more than four years of baking scones, steeping tea and hosting customers,
we will be closing our doors in the middle of January 2012. God blessed me with this ministry and He has now blessed me with another opportunity to re-enter the corporate world. I look forward to beginning this new chapter in my life but also have a heavy heart as I leave SweeTea’s behind.
I will not be departing the tea world entirely, as tea is an integral part of my life. I am still working on my cookbook (which will be out in the spring) and plan to participate in tea related events in the community and beyond. You just might find me hosting a Mother’s Day Tea event, teaching a tea tasting class at the community center or
catering parties in private homes. My website, sweeteas.com, will continue to provide updated information on my whereabouts and activities so check there often and keep up with my blog.
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement. Although it is hard to close SweeTea's, after much prayer, I find it is well with my soul. Our God is so good!
Toasting my tea cup to you all-
Julita
